Sorceress / Monk Elemental Skills Feedback and Suggestions
All quarterstaves can roll "+Fire Damage" and "%increased Elemental Damage". If you want to get more Fire support that scales, there's Painter's Servant. You also have the Infuse with Fire support. Ignite is unique in that the Magnitude and Chance-to-Afflict is linked to the amount of Fire Damage dealt. I don't see a flaw. Invoker was likely designed to have 2/3 elements come easy to it, with the third being more challenging to incorporate but rewards the player with greater synergy once that hurdle is overcome.

It is a really strange logic - since you can get + Fire Damage affixes on gear and general elemental uniques you don't need fire skills for an elemental specialization that specializes on all 3 elements? How can this specialization lorewise even use fire element (in Elemental Expression, Unbound Avatar etc) if it does not inherently know any skills of this element? Such logic is on the level of saying that monk does not need any chaos skills (both existing and new), since Acolyte of Chayula can just get Original Sin to convert elemental damage to chaos, can get +X% Chaos damage mods on non-weapon items and borrow Chaos skills from Witch to use. That thing is playable, but design wise it is bad. Same applies to Invoker using added fire damage and Painter's Servant to even get any fire damage representation. So no, both chaos builds and fire element in Invoker need monk abilities to represent them.

It doesn't specialize in all 3 elements. It specializes in two. You want it to be three.

Elemental Expression uses 3 elements. Sunder My Enemies boosts 3 elements. Unbound Avatar uses / boosts 3 elements. Nodes leading to Unbound Avatar boost elemental damage. So no - Invoker specializes in 3 elements and should have according abilties and support.

No. It specializes in two of the three elements. This is illustrated perfectly with the nodes leading up to Unbound Avatar: you get bonuses to Freeze, Shock, Chill, Cold, Lightning, NOT Ignite and then a blanket 'elemental' boost which honestly is a lower overall character count and sounds less clunky than saying "Cold and Lightning Damage". The only time that Fire is explicitly mentioned is when its in relationship to Strength, which is - you guessed it - the one attribute that monk hybrids don't specialize.

It can increase specialization in cold or lightning via I Am The X nodes, but it still specializes in all 3 elements and mentioned by me earlier nodes confirm that. And there are still more Invoker ascendancy nodes that support elemental damage / ailments including fire damage and Ignite (5+) than there are cold / lightning specialized nodes (4) which further confirms that Invoker is intended to use all 3 elements. And as such - it should get according skills and support for all elements.
