No, it's definitely MF and it has to go. Damage is only too high for the typical OP build with extreme gear that only 0.1% of the playerbase can achieve.

Think what you will, damage is coming down big time.

I think MF is only good because player dmg currently is so overtuned regardless what build you are playing.

Stormweaver/invoker/infernalist/chrono/bloodmage/deadeye can all basically instakill bosses without breaking a sweat - If you do have such abundant dmg, mf comes at basically no cost.

MF doesn't come at a cost in PoE2 anyway, mods are extremely limited so you can afford to run it on every piece of gear it has almost no impact on your overall power, you might lose 10%~

Its just expensive to get good pieces like that as their demand is enormous and supply is tiny

Pro-tip - you can swap your gear around as needed
