Mercenary Crossbow into Bow skill lockout

While testing out the Stormbolt + Shockburst rounds combo, it appears my character is no longer able to shoot any crossbow ammunition. I've attempted to fix the issue by doing the following:

1. Unequipping the bow on my secondary loadout, attempting to shoot only the crossbow. Instead, my character lies in a default stance holding the crossbow through his legs.

2. Unequipping all weapons, reequipping only the crossbow and attempting to shoot.

3. Completely closing the game and relaunching.

4. Unequipping all skill gems and creating new skill gems of the skills I am attempting to use.

5. Going into a map and dying to reset my character.

6. Teleporting to different locations to reset my character.

7. Equipping different crossbows or bows.

None of the troubleshooting has worked, as my character still will not shoot any crossbow ammunition. It seems the skill bar might have broken, as I can freely use bow skills or non-crossbow ammunition skills, such as emergency reload or ballista. As far as using the ammunition skills goes, I can change ammunition types but it will not change the icon in the bottom right for the my left click. By default, the ammunition selected should populate the left click, but that is not happening. Even when I manually select what skill is my left click skill, my crossbow will not shoot.

As it stands it appears my character is bugged and I am unable to play; if there are any other troubleshooting tips or fixes please let me know.

I managed to resolve the issue of being unable to shoot with left click being accessing my skills menu and dragging & dropping the "Crossbow Shot" default skill to my left click.

However, when attempting to use Stormcaller arrow into Galvanic Shards, it immediately broke again, requiring me to restart my client & do the above resolution to fix it.

Unfortunately this still means I am completely unable to use Stormcaller arrow as it will essentially make my game unplayable, but at least I am able to use crossbow abilities again.
