movement tools do not feel up to par with the current state of the game.
It currently feels like the movement tools are not up to par for the environment the game is putting onto the player. Some archetypes do not have any movement options outside of the roll or have to give up too or do some weird work arounds for it. Then there are some movement options which do not feel like the work well enough. Lastly, this lack of movement tools feels bad since the current designs incentives having access to them for QoL or to deal with mechanics.
Blink being one of the two movement skills for casting archetypes feels like we give up way too much spirit for its uses. You could set up a ball lightning, lightning warp set up which you lose two sockets for and have to plan that out ahead of time. Escape shot feels like its jump back time needs to be faster or maybe add some chilling ground effect to it. Currently its just better to use freezing salvo if you need to build up freeze to escape and rolling feels better to get out of situations. There are also times where it feels like it gets stuck onto enemies instead of floating above them. Stormcaller Arrow also has some of these faults, it being slow moving attack that makes you lose control of your character movement and it sometimes feel like it collides with terrain/enemies. Lastly, the map terrain and size are the major reasoning for these movement tools needing to be better. There are too many small grooves to get caught on and too many small hills to climb around. If there was less of these it would not feel as need to have access to a movement tool as most of the time I feel like I need to tool to get around these big maps or annoying area around the map. I think one issue is that some abilities *appear* to have an aspect movement to them when they really don't, its just a fancy animation that looks like it has movement tied to it. You don't move over, around, or past enemies, still take full damage while in the movement animation, and can even be interrupted out of the movement aspect of the ability by enemies even though the player cannot interrupt it. Personally, the "movement" abilities feel bad.

The stuff you have to pay for like Demon Form or Blink work really well.
Far as the mobility class theme of ranger it falls flat. Just doesn't move you enough and even with 25% Skill Speed and 40% Attack speed like you said, Dodge or Salvo just work better. And yea, they work like Leapslam which is fine if they moved more. I stopped using Escapist Shot for now though I still try to get Electrocuting Arrow in for stun and 20% increase damage taken. You just have to be stupid careful and the damn thing can miss. I have a decent amount of movement speed so most these actually feel way slower than just moving.
