Ping infinitely climbing, no internet issues

Had just completed this map and was doing the breach when my game froze and my ping began to climb, going from 19 to 20K in around 10 seconds. I had a stream open on my second monitor and spotify on and neither showed any sign of internet issues.
I alt F4'd the game and upon reopening the game i was back in my hideout with the map marked as failed and all loot gained in the run having been deleted from my inventory.
