Endgame portals and disappearing loot are frustrating as hell

While i really enjoyed the campaign and have done it multiple times on different characters, there are a few issues that are actual deal breakers for me personally.

All of these are about me getting my loot.
1. Loot disappearing if you die just feels bad. During Mapping and trials you cant rejoin already so i get that, but during the campaign dying to random oneshots and then not beeingable to pick up the loot after you fight your way back there, just causes frustration for no reason. It doesnt add to the experience but rather takes away from it.
2. The amount of portals to an opened endgame map is often not enough to get every piece of loot out of there. I am aware most people dont pick up every white and blue item like i do but whats really the harm in that? The portals close anyway if you die and if i want to "waste my time" going back and forth between traders and picking up the loot i worked for, then i think that should be viable... Just make it one permanent portal that closes once you die or once you choose a different map.

"You are playing the game wrong" is something i have been told but, its a game, its meant to be enjoyed and all i ask for is beeing able to pick up my damn loot and do with it as i please.

Honestly if they just made maps have a permanent gateway portal to them that you can enter and exit as much as you want, and removed the senseless death penalties on softcore then this game could actually be a fun sandbox-y arpg with actual player choice and agency. Their only reason for 6 portals was "to stop players from looting everything in the map". Which is just such a non-issue and silly reason to have such a punishing game like it is now with only 1 portal per map if you die.
Wait they actually said they dont want us to loot everything?
If thats true then ill actually just stop supporting this cause thats bullshit.

That is the main reason for only 6 portals per map yes, to limit the amount of loot you can carry out of the map. It's pretty bad.

That is so backwards, this game is all about loot, thats the big enticing factor and they try to take it away from you.
Not to mention you need gold.
The worst part is they have YET AGAIN balanced the end-game loot around 6-man groups. GGG just can't stop pandering to the 0.1% like Empyriangaming.

These groups can afford to run 600 magic find bot (with gravebind gloves) that gives their magic find to the whole party. This bonus then multiplies with the 6-man group bonuses.

What GGG need to do is REMOVE IIQ/IIR on items like they said they would, and remove all forms of magic find. Then they need to max group IIQ/IIR bonuses at 2 people so duo queue is the optimal playstyle. This way the average player can actually enjoy decent drops.

POE will never be mainstream and see Diablo-level player base when the game is balanced around 6-man groups juicing maps with magic find bots.

Yeah I honestly have no idea why its like this, I'm just not touching this game unless some big changes in design philosophy happen. Not worth wasting my time on it when there are much better arpgs/games out there where I can have fun and not have all my progression and time investment deleted in 0.1 seconds by a oneshot.
