monsters knockback is the ultimate antimelee annoying shit
since you guys at ggg claim that melee is supposed to be better in poe2 compared to poe1. i had complained about how you have a philosophy of creating anti melee mechanics in the game.
so i have one question here, how is it fair that as a melee someitmes i can't even attack because of mosnters knockback when ranged can just offscreen them and don't even know knockback exists ? i literally just came here after i got knocked back and out of the breach in a map in less than 3 seconds. stop making anti melee mechanics when you can't make a signle anti ranged mechanic, ty. I think this is what stun threshold is supposed to solve. But it is another stat melee need to focus on which many can just ignore.

nope, my char is impossible to stun so if it was stun threshold issue i'd be immuen to knockback.
i have thousends of stunthreshold that comes naturally from the str i stack adn a notable. so i don't think stunthreshold is doing anything |

I agree that knockback in it's current form is annoying and most of all doesn't feel good at all.
Like in valley of the titans, you find yourself standing 2x the height of these small rock crabs that just roll you across the screen, and you can do nothing about it. It's one thing not dodging a huge hit that sends you flying, but multiple of smaller enemies just moving you back and forth so you can't even aim just feels bad. I had no idea this was a thing when i played a caster or ranged, first two chars. Agreed. Being pushed across the whole screen while unable to get a roll or attack in is ridiculous

I think their current design intent is that melee toons should be Knockbacking the enemies too, or 'punishing' it with LOLthorns
