Map Changes that I Believe are Needed

I am enjoying my time in POE2, but there are a few changes to maps I would like to see. Just for context, I have two characters 88 Invoker and 89 Deadeye.

1) Change the portal system to scale as you increase the difficulty. Something like Tier 1-5 6 Portals, 6-9, 5 portals, 10-11 4 portals, 12-14 3 portals, 15-16 2 portals. And on 15-16 make it so the mobs despawn on your death and you are only able to go back in and loot what ever is on the ground. This way as you learn to play your character and get stronger (as you should be better) you are limited, but when you are first starting off you get more leeway as your gear and defenses arent the best.

2) Boss maps should be only bosses and their portals can be limited by the amount of points you have in the boss tree, going down 1 portal for every 2 points in. But if a player dies the bosses hp is reset and the fight starts over. You can do the same for the pinnacle bosses, as you make the fight tougher for better rewards it requires more skill and your portals are limited by the amount of points you have allocated in that tree.

3) XP penalty should not start until you are level 95 (since Johnathan said in an interview it is just there for racing so they cant just focus on offense). That way it doesnt hurt the average player, but still has a downside for those racing to 100.

4) With maps not having the ability to be rerolled, the downsides need to be relooked at for their strength. This would not be an issue if we had a currency to reroll map mods, but the best we can do is 3 for 1 them (until T15). Nothing is worse then getting a higher tier map to run, but you transmute, augment or regal a downside that bricks it and you just have to go back to running lower tier maps. I understand Chaos Orbs can be used for this, but they are not common enough or cheap enough to use for maps.

5) The quantity of bad map layouts feel like they are 5 to 1 on the good ones. I am looking at you Augury and Mire. I would love to see a currency like Horizon Orbs that can be used to reroll the map for the biome it is in. That way people can roll maps that they like more often. Maybe make it as rare as a Chaos Orb. That way you get one every few maps and maybe your can reroll a map that is juiced with breach, expedition, etc to a layout that is better for it.

6) On death affects are just horrible. Playing a ranged character I have died more times to on death affects I cannot see than any other mechanic in the game. I kill a mob at range while I keep moving forward just to die to something I didnt even see. I am not talking about the big explody guys, but the ground explosions (frost, fire and lightening) corpse explosion, etc. And it is not just the Rare that has it, it is the whole pack of mobs. These effects do not slow people down, they just make them mad.
