Endgame QoL needed
There are a lot of small things that are irritating which makes endgame enjoyment worse.
1 - A few of rares' affixes are dealing way too much damage or are stupid. Like conjure lightning storm is deadly for non-es builds, combine if with proximity(which is really annoying) or some siphons. I would recommend revision in the area. 2 - Non-es gameplay is really punishing in terms of higher tier maps as well as sanctum trial. I am forced to switch from pure ev to ev+es. We lack physical reduction, we lack damage mitigation, we lack chance supress damage. Yet there is monk build that has almost every possible layer of defence. 3 - On death effects are way too punishing. Of course it is my fault but since we have only one portal and on death effects from minions are taking 90-100% of my hp, it gets frustrating after a while that you need to be super focused on each map and remember all these minions. And some minions with on death effects look similar to these without, after a while you get relaxed and then you die when you encounter the ones with on death effect. 4 - Waystone suffixes shouldn't just pump your waystone quantity, the system after a while seems not rewarding in terms of running hard maps. It should boost quantity/rarity with some tiering. 5 - Rarity on items should be removed or at least redesigned(but i strongly feel that it should be removed), having 50-100 increased rarity seems mandatory right now and whole concept of hack'n'slash is to make your character as strongest as possible, yet we are forced to run rarity on items so we can drop things. 6 - Timeless Jewels you wanted poe2 players to be able to play it without the need of third party programs. Yet timeless jewels are in the game. I think that it should be redesigned or removed if you want to keep this concept of the game. Maybe make it a currency to corrupt passives on passive tree? 7 - Arbiter of Ash - Attacks shoudln't overlay, if you are forced to stay in the circle or else you are wiped and while you are standing in the circle, he can fire a laser then pure evasion bolids are killed instantly. 8 - Passive skill points for league mechanics like delirium should be given earlier, like completing a league mechanic on certain waypoint level rather than i.e. getting a point after a simulacrum completition. 9 - Crafting is really plain in terms of some high-mid items, without crafting bench and some more deterministic way of crafting, the current state of the game really is not rewarding here. I know that concept of the game is to put more value to the items looted but it's really hard to itemize. Generally, the game has potential and I know that you will make it really great in upcoming months but a lot of things needs to be rethinked/reworked. Last bumped on Dec 24, 2024, 8:06:39 PM
