[Endgame Feedback] The Poe2 endgame mapping system is too hostile.
" Really easy to avoid that. Just restore the boss to full health every time you die. You still have to kill the boss 100% in one life but you’re no longer kicked in the balls for a single missed dodge and we can go back to 6 portals. The only issue with the PoE1 system was that you could slowly chunk the boss over multiple lives. With a full reset after each death that issue is fixed. I started a waystone map anf before i could even begin with it, my neighbors come over and ask for some help. I go and help and return to being logged out with my waystone consumed and my buffed atlas map whiped of its buffs. Tvery dumb. Simply should not happen this way. Things in the endgame just make me repeatedly turn it off to move on. I keep coming back because of the potential. The endgame feels ridiculous right now. Although, you have some cool ideas here. dying in this game is the worst experience ive had in a game. Its not like a soulslike where you can learn and make adjustments. Random one shots or stun locks to bursting deaths despute sitting back and positioning with perseverance and competence. The difficulty is clearly locked behind gear... which is remarkably difficult to upgrade and/or improve.
Im not sure of any solutions to my grievances.. i enjoy the challenge but tthe consequences are horrendous. Take my xp but dont obliterate my map. I need gear to move on. I need the maps ive strategically buffed to upgrade my loadout. |
