Stupid 1 shot Mechanic game.

Went back to the Titan boss in Normal difficulty.

1400 health, 600 Energy Shield. 60% Armor, 50% evasion, 360 life regen/sec.

1 shot by his dagger.

I'm heading back to PoE 1.

1 Shot mechanics ruin this game.

If you prefer PoE 1 that's fair. Everybody should play what they enjoy most.

To me the reasoning, one shots, is just confusing. Compared to PoE 1, PoE 2 has almost none. In PoE 1 either the screen explodes or you get one shot. That's basically the only two possible outcomes. Deaths outside of one shots basically do not exist in PoE 1.

If you want to make a super tanky build in PoE 1 that tanks anything in the game, you're able to do that in PoE 1.

There's no point for any defensive passives, stacking on health etc in PoE 2. One shot is One Shot.

I HAVE to avoid that hit? Well no, I shouldn't have to if I have the build for it. Dumb.

"YOU HAVE TO ROLL! MAKE SURE YOU ROLL" well, I don't want to roll. I want to stand there and eat the hit. Because i'm a Tank with a SHIELD.

I think some of the titan boss attacks are bugged. Ive been one shot by those attacks at times when Im standing like 3+ meters off to the side.

On the way to the titan boss, I got 2 shots by 2 elite giant spiders. Each spider shot a single projectile at me at the same time, and the next moment I need to resurrect :(

Area hits cannot be blocked or evaded in PoE2, unless you allocate Turtle Charm (warbringer ascendancy) or Acrobatics keystone.

Armour is not effective against big hits. Phys damage reduction displayed on your character info sheet is not accurate. Refer to the wiki on armour in PoE1 because it might be the same formula carried forward to PoE2.

Anyway that boss is probably bugged. If you stay close, he'll just knock you left and right but do almost no damage.

Get more DPS because you'll still die if you run out of flasks. More damage allows you to stun more which is a good defense mechanic. (Freeze is even better.)

Uber Shaper slam is known 16k damage that can easily be built to be tanked

there are literally builds in PoE1 that can facetank these with ease ...
