3rd ascendancy didnt work.

clearly states COMPLETING THIS ASCENSION TRIAL WILL GRANT ADDITIONAL ASCENDANCY SKILL POINTS

i did the trial. im lvl 67, i didnt lose much honour at all. absolutely smashed the boss no problem, get to the reward room and i never got any points.

Have i done something wrong?

If you only smashed 1 boss then you need to complete the other 2 floors aswell to get the ascendancy.

so do i run the trial multiple times?

i got to the end where i had all the chests i can open with keys etc. on the first trial i did i got the ascendancy points straight away.

this has to be the worst designed game mechanic ive ever experienced, im waaaaaaay over leveled for the barya i had, i got absolutely wrecked in the second trial and now my one barya is gone
no ability to retry it, drop rates are disgusting, forced to trade and be ripped off for something that higher lvl players will never use again once theyre ascended so its just a free loot token for them.

no clear explanation of how the system works outside of watching youtube vids.
WTF was GGG thinking with this one, ascendancy doesnt feel fun, its a job, i hate this shit

i refuse to pay for it but who knows when ill get another one, just spent the last 30 minutes for nothing, again...im overleveled so all the rewards are just awful.

why cant they make it an actual trial that you can just repeat until you get it like any other campaign boss. finally hit the end game as melee and a random archer off screen can shoot me and tank 200+honor

out of all the things in the game this has made me wanna uninstall and just forget it. really disappointing to have such a mess for the thing thats meant to make you feel like "oh yay ive finally ascended" to "thank fuck thats over" now i can sell my baryas to the other poor souls less progressed than i am :/
