Unique Item bug: Couture of Crimson Unique body armor

I am running a blood mage with this unique that allow leech to overflow life. It works really well however, I believe there is a bug that causes the spirit reservation to be reset everytime the overflow/life remnant refill the hp pool. It will constantly turn off my reservation.

The specific item im using is a corrupted 2 socket couture of crimson with 2 max life % soul core.

Suspecting the interaction between bloodmage passive and this item to be broken

Update: The spirit reservation will be turned off exactly when the overflow reaches the cap, 2x my current max life. Tested multiple times, can be repeated
