Hammer of the Gods and Tremors not working

EDIT - Nm I guess I was just unlucky. I thought there is overall a (1-(0.7*0.85*0.9)) 46% chance to get at least one aftershock am I understanding that right?

The tremors support gem doesn't seem to be working with Hammer of the Gods.

I do see there is a caveat of 'you cast yourself' but I take that to be excluding e.g. Ancestral Totem not HOTG which just has a delay.

I tried it quite a few times and not seen a single aftershock.

Can anyone confirm?

I linked hammer of the gods to tremors last night to test stuff and it proc'd all 3 independent aftershocks for me after a few tries, so it works self casted. Not sure if that's what you're asking

Thanks for the quick reply, it was hard to spam to test properly but I guess I just got unlucky on my first half dozen or so tries.

I did get it to work shortly after posting, op edited.

Am I right that at least 1 aftershock should proce about 46% of the time?

It should be but it does not seem to be as high as 46% from the very little testing I've done. It was expected but still a surprise to see 6 or 7 aftershocks after hotg.

I will add that aftershock % from passive skill tree does not seem to alter the tremors support gem in anyway besides adding another independent chance to proc a single aftershock. The % from tree does add together with the 25% chance to cause aftershock support gem though from what I can tell, needs more testing.
