Ascendancy Services - Trivializing the game?

There is no skill gate to ascendancies. There’s a RNG and time wasting factor that is not worthy of further debate since the forums are already full of enough criticism of the current system.
Hey people are just adapting to these badly designed systems. Carries will always exist in Trade league. And if you're good at one of those trials you can do carries yourself and make some nice profits too.

You don't wanna see the new channels in TFT for boss carries lol, people already doing arbiter carries, all sidebosses of citadels, all league mech bosses that give skill point books for that league mechanic's tree(so breach, king in the mists and so on) for like 30-40 ex each. And it will be way way more prevalent in the actual launch of the game when there's more demand for carries.
Paying for power is just the intended primary way to play the game, always has been. If it wasn't it wouldn't be the best way to play the game by a huge margin for 10 years, there would have been some attempt to even the score even a little itty bitty teeny tiny bit, but the only time they remotely did that was harvest and they hated it
Aside from the basic "why on earth do you care what others do with their time and money", there is a very specific reason ascendancy services appear: trials are way too different from basic grind loop.

If we could get ascendancy points by doing something close to regular mapping, no one would pay for that, as it would mean character in question is unplayable at all, and even the most lazy player would either fix or abandon this character. GGG made the 4th trial a pinnacle content behind long grind loop with rare RNG drops, most people just refuse to dance to that tune, it is perfectly reasonable.
You mean to tell me that the last ascendancy carry is only 30ex? Damn, it's infinitely less bothersome to gather some exalts rather than engaging with that overtuned bs.

Yep just checked, Sanctum Floor 4 ascendancy carry is 30 ex. 3rd floor is only 6 ex. Dirt cheap, way better than banging your head against whatever overtuned nonsense these trials are lmao
Any type of carrying should be allowed and it's part of a trading system that you've known and have been doing since the day you walked this earth. If you don't like it, then just don't be a part of it, as simple as that.

I traded for my 4th ascendancy and I'm happy for it. By the 3rd ascendancy I already wanted to quit.

If I was to fight 5 bosses in a row with absurd and difficult mechanics I'd do it myself, but I'm not here to play Crash Bandicoot in rooms with silly willy traps when randomly the smallest mob ever decides to 1-shot you from the darn edge of the screen like 2 rooms before the end and you're forced to do everything all over again.

I can not and will not lose time on this foolishness, especially not on multiple characters over and over again, I'll be trading for all my ascendances from here on out if the concept stays like this, and I'll do it with a smile while enjoying my coffee relaxed, lol.

Carries in any game system should be eliminated at all cost.

Imagine the old days trying something like this

Walk up to a stranger and hand them your PlayStation/Nintendo/Xbox and be like “beat this for me since I’m incapable”

It shouldn’t be a thing and it’s one of these “new age gaming” bs behaviors.

Dude - carries existed from the earliest days of online gaming - predating the xbox.

People carried folks in Diablo, UO and Everquest. In fact, some EQ content EXCPECTED you to get folks to carry as it was no doable solo at all.

There is nothing new about this...

Im just expressing my opinion on an open discussion. Im not telling you how to play or else lol...

Its a silly behavior that has evolved to be common place since online gaming has happened. You did NOT do this prior to MMO's. And now its just rampant.

But "play the game they way they want" ... when you hand over controls to someone else... you ... are not longer playing... so ... that argument doesnt even make sense lmfao.

But Im just saying its a silly thing to do. The whole point of a challenge is to try over and over, until YOU can do it.

Not give up and be like "hey random person do it for me"

This applies to the OP about services.

It's literally none of your business how someone chooses to play a game. It's a game. People have fun in different ways. Sorry but you can't tell others how to play a videogame, that's just silly. Carries will always exist, because there are always people who need them and people who are willing to do them.
