Suggestions: Soulbound items, chance for items to break permanently on death

Hello,

if you wanted to reduce the amount of "reuse" for items, I would suggest consider these two. I assume they have been suggested many times.

1. Rare/Unique items get soulbound when you equip them. A popup confirmation yes/no are you sure so you won't do it accidentally.

2. A chance for an item to break when you die. Chance could be small, perhaps 1 to 5 % for each item in each slot.

For both you could perhaps have a mechanic to "fix" the item with for example some rare currency or some other mechanic, which fixes broken items or removes the soulbound status.

Both would perhaps reduce the amount of items in rotation. Both would also feel bad, but isn't Poe2 more about feeling bad anyways, so the good parts feel more good in contrast when you experience them.

To discourage dying, you could also implement more traditional features:

3. Gold cost for "repairs"..

4. Lose part of your gold on death...

How about we just delete account on death?
