are the zones way too large?

i feel like this is bordering into falling into the same trap poe1 fell into of having a ridiculously long campaign, the actual zones in each act are gigantic, entirely unnecessary to be this large, you could cut each zone in half really and still have a decent campaign. i know that cruel will get replaced with act 4, 5, 6 but if act 4, 5, 6, are as large as act 1, 2, 3 this is just too much imo.

make the zones in the campaign half the size they are now, its ok, they're too large, everything feels like d2 a3 iykyk.

You can't say that. I mean. They're at LEAST 10x bigger, and you have no movement skill, nor speed. In POE 1 you can blitz through the campain in 3-4 hours at the starts of a league, if you're experienced, some even did it in less (see POE league start speedrun to map)

In POE 2, it's actually WAY longer, even on a reroll with perfect leveling gear.

Even with checkpoint, I mean, sure, it's better for things like blackjaw. But that's about it ? Those three acts just takes WAAAAAAAAAY too long, I don't want to go through this another time, even maps are EXTRA huge, and point of interest are not marked when you finish them. I will, but this time I won't experiment, I'll just take a full leveling build and follow a guide to blitz through the game, I don't want to experiment things during the story, it's way too long ._.

As for the map things : If you complete a map, just highlights the rituals, expedition, etc. Finished a T14 map with a friend, it took us twice the time to find those rituals after clearing it, because unlike breach, I don't see any indicator of where they might be, and even with 30% movespeed, it took minutes to go across the map. Found one. Yeaaaaah, 3 more to go, noooooo.

Oh, by the way : Even with overlapping 7 tower on juiced T14 maps, with a specialized atlas tree for precursor tablet, with 2 player, I drop MAYBE one every 3 to 4 maps, I don't see how you're supposed to even sustain the mechanic you want to play like this (I'm a ritual enthousiast, from POE1 to POE 2, not asking for it to be guaranteed like in POE 1, but at least one tablet every 2 full ritual map might be good ?) ._.
At this point I think I even want checkpoints in maps so when I feel the need to double back I can do so a whisker quicker than I otherwise could.

Funny that I'd say that but esp. given the whole "you die you lose the map" I will deliberately bypass some mechanics, get map completion, THEN I'll circle back and finish any mechanics I left.

Feedback: Pinning mechanic locations to the map would be great so I don't waste time scouring the map to find that one last breach, strongbox, ritual, etc.

map are a bit too big but since boots give so much speed its not really a bigproblem
