warrior slowness is awful
|
I didn't notice this in the campaign that clearly but when doing maps I am definitely noticing that the slowness of the warriors attacks is a serious detriment to its ability to get damage out and to even stay alive.
For a few reasons: 1. Skills cost mana up-front. So you spend say 100 mana to do a sunder, and it takes 2 seconds of wind up and during that time some boss or rare puts an aoe attack on you, you now have to dodge roll so that you don't die, but guess what you just spent 100 mana and did no damage! Oh and by the way your mana regen rate is like 15. 2. Skills can be interrupted! So you try to do a sunder again to hit a group of mobs, during the wind up they rush you and start hitting you. The two seconds goes buy and you notice that your sunder never went off, now your down 100 mana, did no damage, and are surrounded by mobs wailing on you. What the actual fuck! I have yet to figure out what I'm even supposed to do to deal with this, it just subtly happens and it just seems like I have to pay close enough attention that to react to it, cause if it is interrupted the chances of death immediately jump to near 100%, after all most of sustain is based on doing damage, to eliminate the threat and leech back health. So when its interrupted its just totally fucked and the mobs are sooo freaking fast that there is no time to try another 2 second wind up that might also be interrupted.
