Arbiter of Ash burning ground feedback
I'm playing a Bonestorm Bloodmage build and got to phase 2 for the first time today. The Arbiter made the entire arena burning ground, which drained my health about as fast as my flask could restore it. Combined with my main skill draining about 275 health per second I quickly ran down to nearly no HP, and eventually ran out of flask charges and died. This experience just kinda really sucked, it did not feel good at all. I didn't feel like I failed to dodge anything, I just slowly died.
Over about an hour of looking through streamer footage after this it then felt like I just got unlucky, seeing many others getting chilled ground instead. Eventually I found a video in another language generally covering his mechanics and it turns out to change the ground type you are supposed to walk into the balls that look exactly like Volatile Crystals. This is just an exceptionally strange design choice. I've been trained in mapping to avoid things like this. And even if I were to touch them, I would just expect them do explode for damage, not change the entire arena. Also I received a meteor pattern at one point where, on my standard 1920x1080 monitor, I was unable to see the location of the next safe spot from the current safe spot. It was too far above me to be on screen. I can't comment on the travel time/speed of this pattern as I didn't really get to try running to it, since I didn't know where it was! This feels extremely silly though, and again just really sucks. Last bumped on Jan 17, 2025, 5:12:30 AM

+bump because I am on Life Only Warrior had no idea about ground mechanic change also I have 80% max fire res and 1800/s hp regen/4.5k pool burning ground there still killing me thru ingenuity flask spam. First couple times thru I either killed too fast to learn mechanic or got killed by something else.
