I miss map bosses

The presence of a Unique Boss in a map is fun, but now it's gated behind a mod. I really wish we'd have such an encounter every map by default.

Me too. I think a tablet of bossing would be a great addition. I don't understand why every other endgame mechanic has a tablet to spawn more of it but not bossing. Bossing deserved an atlas tree, so why not a tablet?
