Blink (Teleport Dodge) "Triggers" with no I-Frames
As a whole Blink is an interesting ability. Really helps get out of sticky situations, with the drawback of a LONG cooldown. I use it with Frost Wall, Lightning Warp, and Lightning Ball to really get into and out of combat. (Invoker)
I have had some frustrations with it where I feel like its not activating like I feel it should. I finally realized the specific issue. When I activate it it is triggering, but then I am getting attacked, and stunned and the Dodge is getting cancelled. Activating it is Triggering [Lingering Illusion], I am getting attacked, and Stuck in place, yet I am generating Power Charges from the Dodge I am activating. Kinda defeats the whole point of a "Blink" if between the time I trigger it, and when I actually Teleport I can get stun locked. Shame that it's in the state its in now, The build has a beautiful flow. and Blink has lots of up and downs. Especially when paired with Lingering Illusion since the long cooldown means I can't spam out LI clones. I've had to actually be much more methodical with when I roll. Plus being able to teleport through a Frost wall to go into and out of combat without needing to combo Lightning Ball/Warp together (Plus I think LW suffers from the same issue.
