EXP loss on death

Everyone stop for a second and imagine how much healthier the game and its community would be if people who made forum posts insulting other players for dying in a video game would have all of their existing and future characters forcibly transferred to hardcore servers.

That system would solve so many problems in one fell swoop.

No matter how hard you try you aren't getting that EXP penalty removed.

Oh they'll change it eventually. PoE2 was marketed so well the normies jumped in.
They want that sweet sweet normie money.

Also, how did you get your red-haired Elvis (with his hands in his pockets) avatar. That belt buckle is awesome.

A seasonal game should not have a 600 hour grind to max lvl a character, unless the game is designed for a niche audience which is exactly the opposite of what the devs claim they want

Wrong.

Getting to 100 is aspirational and provides miniscule gains. The only scenario where you would've had a point was if getting anything past 95 was required to make a build work; it is not and never has been, in either game.

Wrong. I can get a build to work 90, those extra 10 skill points do however provide more flexibility and despite what you claim they provide more than miniscule gains depending on the class and build.

Hiding those skill points behind so called worthless levels that are only there for bragging rights is just bad design, especially in a seasonal game.

Stop moving the goalpost. 95 is free. You don't need more and you certainly don't need flexibility if you are incapable of progressing past that.

Diablo 4 already does handouts very well - go play that instead of trying to turn everything else into mush.

It's no coincidence that POE 2's average player count (post-launch) is right in line with, or worse than, what they average with POE 1. It's unfortunate for them, given they had a stellar launch with their most players ever.

Big missed opportunity if they stick to their 12 year old guns, but yeah it is their choice after all.

Made up nonsense. The last 5-10 points do not make or break any build. If you want that OPTIONAL flexibility, earn it!
