Hello.
I just wanted to give a quick feedback about the mid/end game system in maps. I just died on a boss. I lost the obvious loot from the boss, and the waystone, that I for some reason have less of. Now I need to go back to a lower tier waystone to farm higher tier waystone to get progress. This is time consuming for a player who like to try out new builds and make characters. About the boss: There is no info. I don't know what type of damage I took. I don't know where the boss attack is gonna land. I just roll dodge blindly somewhere to not get hit by the boss knife attack. I got stunned by some ads and I have no idea what it was. Was it freeze, was it a stun? I don't know, so how can I get better? Solution: better gear. How to get better gear? solution: buy it from other players. This is not fun. Games should be fun. The feedback is, that the xp loss after death, do not encurage me to get better. It encuraged me to check out guides about what gear to equip, and to go to a webpage to trade for better gear, which is straight out a bad game design. I am not encuraged to try new builds. I am not encuraged to go in to a new feature blindly. I no longer have motivation to create new characters and builds, simply because of that one thing alone, that you lose xp on deaths in maps. I don't know how much percentage of players enjoy this feature, but I don't. There is no skill involved in having a ready build with the right gear. I don't know why this game tries so hard to be a skill issue, when the only skill issue is lack of the right skill and gear combination, which you get from content creators.
