Nobody is talking about the worst rare monster modifier by far - revives minions
It is the worst because of it's weirdness. Every other monster modifier that does not affect it directly is done like an aura around it or a ground effect. Regen for example. Not this one. Regularly you'll kill some mobs only to watch them revive constantly. Meanwhile, the rare itself is not even on the same screen. This happens often because usually if the rare is a slow ranged mob its minions are going to be fast melee ones.
So, you have to ignore the mobs smacking you around and rush forward in order to find and kill that rare. Without any indication which one is the right one other than a label. Instead of the way more logical revive aura around the rare mob which is just superior in every way. Last bumped on Dec 21, 2024, 8:42:11 PM

It does need a bit of a range limit, for sure.
Though as far as the worst, I'd have to go with the mana draining ones. Stupid how quickly they drain you. |

Nasty little mod, especially when paired with regenerates life. I've had to give up on some encounters because of that.
