Overconverting damage doesn't increase the converted damage
Not sure if it's intentional or not but having more than 100% conversion does not increase the output damage.
In my case I have corrupted Blueflame Bracers with 122% of Fire Damage converted to Cold Damage. The value of Cold Damage is the same value as with 100% conversion. I would've expected it add 22% of Fire Damage as extra Cold Damage on top of the base conversion. Last bumped on Jan 16, 2025, 9:37:19 PM

I can confirm I see this same issue still present on 2025-01-09.

Can anyone acknowledge this bug? It's a significant loss of damage from this item.

Can confirm I also get this with the Call of the Brotherhood ring - vaaled to 119% conversion but damage remains the same
Browsed the forums for other similar posts quickly and it seems that any form of conversion over 100% doesnt work, even with something like painter's gloves - would be nice if this were either fixed to allow conversion over 100%, or, if the intent was never to allow that, remove the ability to vaal over 100% Or barring any of those at least state in the context hover for converted that you can't convert over 100% of your damage |

No bug here, this is intentional and you can't go above 100% conversion.
Think about how converting something would work functionally. If you have a glass of water and convert half of it into oil (50%), only half of the water is left. If you convert the entire glass into oil (100%), you are left with no water. Trying to convert more than the entirety of the water (122%, as you had stated), would still only give you 100% because there was only one glass of water, not a whole glass and then some. This is how it worked in POE1 as well. There's nuance with how multiple conversions work when you go over 100%, but you won't get more out of your damage by simply converting more than 100%. tl;dr - You can't convert more than 100%, which is all that you have, so this is working as intended. |

I see, well thanks for the heads up.
