Bubbling Respite Bug - Quest Breaking - Normal Difficulty

Accidentally dropped my green mushroom upon entering cruel difficulty Riverbank area, the item disappeared instead of showing on the ground. I then went back to normal Act 3 to farm my green mushroom so I can complete the quest. Now the green mushroom would not drop at all, as if I still have the item somehow. I ran the apex of filthy 20 times just to be sure.
