Giant's Blood requirements detrimental to leveling experience

I don't have a problem with the concept of Giant's Blood carrying an increase to stats as such; there needs to be some kind of balancing effect after all. Moving it to 3x however means a serious detriment to the experience while leveling, as you'll pick up one upgrade after another and not have the stats to equip them until far, far later than the items are normally meant to be used. The benefits of Giant's Blood means they're still viable at that time of course, but you have the problems of:

* clogged stash, since you're always finding items you can't use yet, but will need later

* huge gaps of time between upgrades during which you just miss out on the fun of the whole genre: getting upgrades to loot

I'm sure some people will say "well, just don't take giant's blood until endgame," but given the Titan ascendancy is pretty clearly based around hitting as hard as possible (which Giant's Blood furthers), AND ascendancies can't be respecced, AND waiting until endgame to take an ascendancy would also be seriously detrimental to the experience, I have to feel that something needs to be done with Giant's Blood itself so the player doesn't waste all their gold gambling for top shelf STR jewelry just to play.
