This particular passive ability - found on the small passives in the Chronomancer ascendancy ('Buff Expiry Rate') is almost completely worthless. Also, the small passives have no effect on the notables on that same chain (Temporal Rift and Time Freeze), which makes their placement especially poor. Most active buffs have a duration that ends immediately under certain conditions (like leaving the area of effect, or a minion dying). Several active buffs have a duration but are consumed before the buff expires (see below). There are only a total of 5 buffs that have a meaningful effect - only 2 of which would ever possibly be used together (Scavenged Plating + one of the others; most likely Magma Barrier). For a caster Chronomancer, the only buffs which are affected are Quicksand Hourglass (ascendancy notable on a different path) and Elemental Conflux (spirit gem for a tri-element build). --- Here's a list of the buffs that actually have a duration: Active skill gems: Mantra of Destruction, Emergency Reload Active skill gems with consumed duration buffs: Barrage, Infernal Cry, Seismic Cry Spirit skill gems: Elemental Conflux, Scavenged Plating, Magma Barrier Ascendancy passive skills: Quicksand Hourglass (Chronomancer notable) Passive skills: None - All of them refer to 'Recently', which is a fixed duration Charms (various) --- Proposed changes: * Add more active buffs, especially for elemental spells. * Change all buffs that say 'Recently' to say 'for 4 seconds'.
