Trapped inside shieldwall during Viper fight

During the transition to a tighter arena I got pushed in-between the shield wall and couldn't move. No attacks could get through but the boss couldn't hurt me either.

Boss AI was confused without having a clear line of sight, got stuck in this attack for a full minute while slowly walking towards the bottom left of the arena.
