Ground Targeted Skills Need Not Sticky Target

I've been toying around with cold skills on Crossbow, and I've been frustrated by the sticky targeting of ground-targeted skills on larger enemies.

To clarify, I refer to the behavior of your character auto-targeting an enemy that you "have your cursor over" as sticky targeting.

While desirable in some cases, it'd be fantastic if we could get a toggle to disable this entirely, and a hot key to hold to disable/enable (similar to hold position while attacking). It'd make the careful positioning of some key combo-abilities much easier to pull off (Flame Wall, Ice Wall, Glacial Shot, and etc).

Some good examples of where this really doesn't work well in its current state are in Act II: Tor Gul, and The Titan. Both are very large bosses, where the latter has some very wonky hitboxes (typically, only the arms are targetable). When fighting these bosses, it can be downright impossible to target the ground with any degree of precision, depending on the camera angle and position of the boss.

For Tor Gul, you have to remain on the bottom side of arena to comfortably ground target relatively near the boss. It is very hard to do so on the top side of the arena, and assuming you do, the ground effect will be too far away from the boss. Even on the bottom side of the arena, it's can be impossible to precisely target ice walls, because your character's aim snaps to the boss.

The Titan is more egregious - the movement of the arms causes your character to spasmodically whirl around in an attempt to auto-target the arms...

In POE1, the inherent spam of skills made me not care about this for traps, mines, and so on that you didn't want to plant inside of a boss. However, I feel this is more necessary here.

In short, please give us the option to aim for ourselves in all cases.
