Bug with mysterious shade quest on couch co-op (ps5)

Playing couch co-op with my brother, I have a level 10 sorceress and him a level 5 warrior. I've played the game past this quest point but he has not, when we get to the hooded figure una's portal spawns but when we activate it una only spawns for half a second before disappearing. She reapers at the grip tangle so it's not game breaking, just weird.
