Repeated disconnects with terrain generator error message, cannot progress 4th floor Sekhema trial

Hi, I was doing a 4 floor trial of Sekhema for my last ascension and upon trying to enter the 4th floor I was kicked out to the login screen with the following error:

The terrain generator for the client is out of sync with the server. Please create a new instance and try again.

After logging in again and trying to resume the in progress trial, attempting to enter gives the same error every time and disconnects me to the login screen.

Tried verifying game files. Tried both the steam and standalone clients. Behavior is the same.
Tried waiting 20+ minutes between attempts with no change as well.

I'd prefer not to lose progress on the trial, or in the case that I do have to abandon the run and start a new one I don't want to slog through another three floors if there's a risk of this just happening again.
