Enemy staggering (you) and tight corridors

I have been mostly enjoying the game and really think this game is of an immensely high quality.

But amidst the fun, there is an equal (if not greater) weight of frustration whenever I play this game. On top of all the already common complaints about the game (damage of mobs, collision, melee handicap, etc.), I think another major issue is the staggering and clutter of monsters.

The nature of a game like PoE swarms you with enemies. So the game needs to balance around that. With the ridiculous damage enemies seem to do together with the fact that enemy hits mini-stun/stagger you preventing you from reacting, even if you DO manage to react to such a ridiculous situation (have to do so in milliseconds since many monsters one-shot you), you are simply disallowed from doing anything (since you are also in a tight space, and even if you do roll in time, there's nowhere to go).

I am no stranger to difficult and punishing games, but games that remove control from players need to have a good reason for it. And this does not warrant any in my opinion.

Keep up the good work guys, but I must stress how much of a pain point this is (especially for a melee player), because I am FORCED to put myself in a bad position in order to engage the enemy and am being brutally penalised by it.
