And so far, that's my experience. I cruised much faster through these zones then I did before, and not just because I wasn't checking all the dialogue. In many cases, I felt I could safely push the zones the way I do in Path of Exile, ignoring most monsters until a suitable pack is in pursuit before crushing them all with a Rolling Slam into Boneshatter. I have to admit, it was nice to slip back into that familiar playstyle. I definitely enjoyed and want to have moments where I'm carefully engaging packs. But that feeling of power as I trivialize enemies around me is also enjoyable. I also had one of those satisfying moments when I figure out a mechanic. After struggling so much with Lachlann's slam, I just suddenly had an epiphany. Instead of trying to roll away, I should try rolling behind him and then back. It worked on the first try, and I didn't take a single slam after. I just love moments like that. Now to see if I can push at a better clip this weekend and finally get to endgame.
