there is something wrong... what happened to the economy?!

Last few days the price in market went up by like 1000% i was having so much fun every exalt drop was a joy getting me closer to my item or goal i want to get but now it's totally meh in just 2 days is this normal or what

Nothing is "wrong" with the economy. People are just pulling in a lot of currency. Items that were listed at 1 Exalted Orb a week ago can be sold for 3-4 Exalted Orbs now.

yeah that's pretty normal at the start of a league..... No one has currency at the beginning so things cost nothing. People also didn't know how to value things/currency as it's a new game even though it's the similar currency to POE1 all the drop rates are different and so is what they do. I'm sure the currency rates will change alot as we get closer to release. I wouldn't be surprised if we get some "league" similar resets during EA so they can see how ppl go thru the early acts again in a fresh economy after they make some big changes or add the new classes/acts.

Every PoE League its the same:
Newbies try out the game, start with league, happily farm chaos (now Ex), 1 week into the league divines rise by 20x their prior value, everything good switches from chaos to div in pricing, noobs start crying that someone fucks up the economy (mostly blaming some weird kind of "bot" for it, because thats all they can imagine with limited knowledge about the game and tech in general).

It has been like this for 10 yrs now. Its normal. Calm down, git gud and have fun in the game.

Btw. if u dont like the trade-system u can opt out of that any time by creating a char in the SSF League where no trading is possible, im sure this would be perfect for you.

higher maps drop a ridiculous no. of exalts and multiplied by rarity, so they basically have no value. Probably gonna reach the 1:200 divine ratio soon just like PoE1

ggg is gone so now all the botters can run with no issues for the holidays. they do this to make the game harder for you. at least you dont play on console. i cant even trade. and no word from ggg.

Item rarity stacking gets a bit ugly for the league economy.

I wish baseline rarity was slightly higher, but item rarity on gear just didn't exist...

Play pseudo- solo self-found, pretend builds requiring bought items don't exist, GGG balances so that this is either fun or not fun, be happier in life.

Dealing with other people and trade in PoE is a fucking nightmare of egotistical shitbags and the less you deal with it the better. Nothing made me enjoy PoE1 more than when I learned to opt out of trade and use it only for the most absolutely required items and nothing more.
