Toxic Growth Inconsistent Jumping mechanics
Now, this may be a feature, I am not sure, but as ranger, Escape Shot, and Toxic Growth Jump mechanics work differently, there is no explanation. I figured out the exact behavior just for this post. It was unclear to me during the play.
So, the Jump depends on how far from your character you are casting the Toxic Growth. This is bad for the skill as casting it near your character does not allow you to properly control the direction in which you jump, as near your character, it's hard to get the proper opposite direction. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use Toxic Growth near your character. 2. Use toxic growth a bit further from your character. 3. Use Toxic Growth closer to your character's opposite end of the screen. Jumps will have different distances depending on the distance on which you cast the spell. This may be intentional, but it doesn't feel very clear during the gameplay. I was always thinking that it relates to how I move the character, not where I cast the spell ) Also, this is inconsistent for the fights; in boss fights, you just basically jump however it goes, as you direct this spell on enemies, not for your jumping use.
