Inconsistency of a modifier in Ultimatum Trials

There's a modifier in Ultimatum Trials that provides the following - " All buffs expire 3x faster and all debuffs expire 3x slower "
I'm currently playing the Witch and I thought that my Soul Offering, sacrificing my only skeleton would expire instantly, but in reality the 4s duration of the offering "Buff" doesn't expire any faster or slower, meanwhile, the duration for my skeleton to revive, went down 3x faster... Thus minions reviving at 3x speed and Offering "Buff" not expiring any faster. I don't mind the benefit it brings, just seems like an opposite of the intended modifier functionality and an OP move for a minion Witch build.
