Seeking Clarification on Meta Skills and Energy Mechanics
Could someone help me better understand the mechanics behind Meta skills, specifically when using more than one of the same type (e.g. Cast on Shock) and how they accumulate energy?
Scenario - Playing Invoker, using a lightning spell (Arc/Spark) to generate energy. - Running two Cast on Shock (CoS) setups: - Setup 1: Cast on Shock + Ball Lightning - Setup 2: Cast on Shock + Comet or Conduit Mechanics Observed 1. Energy Gain Consistency Energy gain remains identical whether using a single or two Cast on Shock setups. Both setups gain energy separately and equally from self-cast generators (e.g., Arc or Spark). Having one or two setups does not affect energy gains - they behave the same. 2. Ball Lightning Energy Loop Triggered Ball Lightning from the first CoS setup DOES NOT accumulate energy for either the first or second CoS setup. Despite Ball Lightning having 750% more shock and being supported by additional shock generation, the energy loop seems non-functional here. 3. Ball Lightning and Unbound Avatar Interestingly, triggered Ball Lightning does accumulate energy for Unbound Avatar! Are these observations accurate? Particularly: - Is Point 2 (no energy accumulation from Ball Lightning) intended? - Is Point 3 (Ball Lightning accumulating energy for Unbound Avatar) functioning as designed? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Last edited by ponyrii#2356 on Dec 19, 2024, 4:09:55 PM Last bumped on Dec 20, 2024, 12:43:22 AM
