[POE2] Charged Staff on Cast on Crit

Not sure if this is intended, but if it is intended, the tooltip may be a bit misleading. (Or I am missing something.)

The game does not let you socket "Charged Staff" into "Cast on Critical".

Charged Staff's tooltip says it is a spell. It might be because it requires charges, but you can socket other spells which have a condition to cast like "Profane Ritual" and "Cold Snap".

Same issue, doesn't make sense if it is intended... I hate how casting charged staff works, too slow. You literally have to stop attacking or press any other button hit charged staff and then go back to attacking.

I was hoping to use Charged Staff with Cast on Freeze. The prereq nodes to Overflowing Power give you 60% crit damage buff if you've used a Power Charge "recently". I thought automating Charged staff use on Freeze would be a great combo with this since I get a power charge on freeze (Combat Frenzy + Resonance). Really disappointed this doesnt work :(
