How can I target the "Tempes Bell" as Monk?

Is there a option to make the bell tagetable?

So far my Monk targets everything and his grandmother around the bell, just not the bell itself.

Even if I press shift he turns into the direction of the enemy to attack instead of attacking the bell (mouse is hovering over the bell btw).

Can anyone of the Monk player help me here pls....is there some kind of "lifehack" to make the bell targetable & less annoying?

Thanks in advance. :)

not a monk, but as a gemling legionnaire i have my main dps skill mapped to mouse right-click, so i just position my char (wasd), and hold down right click while the mouse is pointed at the general direction of the bell

Meh, I want to avoid WASD...sadly not my cup of tea. :)

Hope they make the bell targetable or so....surrently it feels like it's made for WASD or Controler rather than M+K. :/
Well, I simply place the bell on or right next to the monster. Since the quaterstaff hits in an arc, it hits both the monster and the bell. Works just fine with the Ice Strike...

I do the same....but hit the bell only around 60% of the time.

I think a good solution would be to make the bell targetable becasue it seems that this skill is not made for M+K (My console friends on the other hand have no probs). ^^

Sounds like a sensible suggestion to make it targetable, or have an option to. +1
I'm on controller and will very occasionally experience the same issue, typically with a large group of enemies or a larger enemy. Conversely and near universally, when I try to disengage and move to attack the next mob, I have difficulty switching from the bell to another target farther away and will dash back to the bell instead of the mob.

Although this can be annoying and ruin the feeling of blasting through a map, I find targeting and re-positioning on slow moving creatures the most problematic, to the point of resulting in one-shot deaths. If I'm attacking and dodge roll to avoid a large telegraphed attack, I'll attempt to re-engage the monster but will be sucked back to my original place just in time for the large telegraphed attack to crush me.

Note: I'm playing monk and primarily using Ice Strike.

Yep, it requires good positioning. Personally, I'd like to see the bell being targetable as you suggest, so +1...
+1 We need to have the possibility to target the beel because i always miss half of my dps because of that....
+1 as well. It is ridiculous that it is not targetable.
