Endgame doesn't work, here's why

If you can't sustain low tier maps you are doing something badly wrong or constantly dying, use the towers to irridiate everything and run boss nodes with your highest tier maps, you really can't go wrong even with a poorly specced atlas tree. You don't even need to bother using much currency for low tiers, just transmutes, augs and the occasional regal.

Also the 3:1 recipe is bait, don't use it unless you are swimming in maps of the tier you are converting from.

This. Think of the reforger as getting some value out of maps that you wouldn't run yourself because they are too inefficient. It's like 1/2 the maps you would get of the resulting level just by running those maps with a specced atlas.

On a separate note, maybe re-examine your definition of "bricked". If you are discarding items as viable upgrades because they have just one or two mods that you can't use, then you are stuck in POE 1 crafting mindset. Until you're juicing T15s and slamming bosses, target upgrades with 3-4 useful mods.

I agree that the crafting system and intended/impactful upgrade options could use better feedback and support for the player. Maybe a metric or view to help identify what items are severely behind and would be easiest to replace.

yeah, no.

I have yet to die once, and my atlas isn't speced at all since I got 4 points and I'm not reforging waystones, I am also clearing the maps entirely after completing them to increase my drop chance. I can't irradiate all the maps because I dropped no tablets.

I guess you were just luckier than me.

I am using a bow with 3 good stats out of 6 and it's the best I got in 80 levels while using all of my orbs on the most promising ones and reforging all bricks. I visit multiple vendors at each and every level up. I am not even complaining because I'm playing a broken build that doesn not NEED more power (broken since the Cast on Shock changes). I am giving feedback on the system based on the experience it provides and it's like dating post-covid, an endless disappointment cycle.
