End game farming for bosses seems pointless (please read suggestions GGG)
Rant:
Just ran my 50th t16/17 ritual with no audience for boss. Couple maps ago ran a t16 breach and got... 3 splinters WOOT! so 100 of those for 1 boss fight? Oof! And let's not mention Citadels, because those are just a troll right...? :) Still haven't found one after clearing 100s of nodes north and south. Up the drop rates or interest is going to wane quickly. I know mine is. ***Suggestions***: 1. Add some kind of indicator that you should travel in a certain direction to reach X Citadel (or massively increase their spawn chance) 2. Biomes are awesome but are too chaotically slammed together. Large areas of similar biomes would be enjoyable. A large forest, desert, water zones connected to each other along a stream... etc. 3. Every node should have some mechanic on it. Dead nodes are loathed. 4. Would be nice to have a voidstone like mechanic that excludes lower tier waystones and forces them higher. ** YAY ** Outside of that I feel like the game is amazing and I'm not trying to cry, just give feedback on this wonderful beta :) Last edited by Khiljaz#9924 on Dec 19, 2024, 1:33:48 PM Last bumped on Dec 19, 2024, 12:23:50 PM

No citadels for me either. Only normal map nodes and I'm 200 hours in and level 90 doing t16s all day.
My focus is just mapping right now but it's weird that after 200+ node clears I see nothing special. Just normal areas to farm. Shrug PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something. Last edited by HeroEvermore#0498 on Dec 19, 2024, 11:43:00 AM

What bosses? All I ever seem to see in maps are rares!

" Same, level 91 and 100s of map nodes complete and haven't found a single citadel. Last edited by Khiljaz#9924 on Dec 19, 2024, 12:07:21 PM

It really does feel boring. I'm mid maps so not super high but I'm losing motivation to push further. Drops are typically pretty boring, a lot of the layouts can be brutal since there's no room to maneuver in them but the game is now designed around never being hit.
Ritual events are a good example of these conflicting designs - they spawn five hundred enemies in a 10 meter radius that you're locked into and then lag your computer with particle effects - i've started just clearing the maps so I can get the win on it then going back and doing the breach and ritual events since that's the safer way to play but takes way longer. The atlas map seems exciting at first, but everything just feels kind of the same all the time? It takes a long time to get to something interesting and having only a single try on it sucks. It also just starts to feel visually "messy". |

I skip ritual. I do like Breach a LOT. Deli and Ritual need some work.
PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.
