Trial of Sekhemas is just unfair and not fun at all

Absolutly hated these trials since day 1 and i hope they delete them from the game.
I agree, forced sanctum is not a good idea. There are people who just do not enjoy that. I am able to do the 1st one with 1 try, but when you get to the 3rd one, you either need crazy ammounts of damage to pass on 1st try, or you need to fail a few runs to get the relics - it just feels horrible to have to fail a couple of times in order to get you ascendancy.

Your not alone of the trails. I hate it as well, this is basically that sister dungeon system all over again from PoE 1 that I ABSOLUTELY HATE! They put this into POE2? FUCKING BULLSHIT!

I know for sure I won't go far in getting ascendecies in many other classes outside of druid. It's punishes melee characters cause you have to AVOID GETTING HIT! which is a problem with melee ranged characters. I'm glad I can freeze folks before they ever hit me, but that be an issue majorly for necromancers and other classes.

I rather have the old ascendency PoE 1 over this bullshit. I have a better chance on PoE 1 then I ever did on PoE 2 with this bullshit.
Trial of Sekhemas and Trial of Chaos are not just bad, they are insanely bad.

Keeping those systems in 4.0 is just minblowing.

Yes an another complain to this trial, but it really really REALLY deserve it.

Every second I spent in this trial I was reminded of how absolutely NOT FUN it was. But I really wanted to get to the end and do the final boss, but I've reached the point where I'll never do this trial again until there's a patch that completely nerf it down or a full rework.

The highlight was the Time trial, I did it once with the anti-poison charm because of the scorpion, but I got one-shotted without understanding why in a room where I had to survive. At first I thought it was because a monster froze me, so I thought I'd try again with the anti-frost charm this time.

But now I understand what the problem was, since I died the same way with the anti-frost charm and 9500 energy shield. It's the rare monster with an hourglass that loads up lots of balls and sends them all at me, doing well over 7000 damage in one go (my basic energy shield is 5000, but I thought I'd play it safe and boost my defenses with the relics).

And as it's not unfun enough as it is, I'm slowed down by something unknown in the room, making dodging among the other monsters totally impossible.

I don't think I've ever had such a frustrating experience in a video game, and yet I've played so many different games, but this is just the pinnacle of what can be done.

And to add to what's wrong with Trial of the Sekhemas :
- The honor system needs a complete overhaul, it just makes the experience extremely frustrating. I think a good thing would be to link honor to the quantity and rarity of the loot granted, or to be able to remove afflictions at will, or both.

- The Scorpion boss fight needs to be reworked, there are too many traps in the room and there are too few phases where you can do damage. When he goes underground, he should only do so once, not 3 or 4 times in a row. His ranged attack is too fast and his roll attack the hitbox is far too big.

- Obviously, you have to completely nerf the damage of the rare hourglass monster, it's absolutely not normal to take over 7000 damage in one go when my character's only defense is the energy shield and 76% elemental resistance.

- Some room afflictions are far too abused or just not fun. The ones where you can be sent to a room at random, or where you can't see the next rooms, should just be removed. The point is to plan your advance, not that I just ended up at 1 HP because I'm playing with Chaos Innoculation and I was just unlucky enough to come across the affliction that takes away my energy shield.
The movement speed affliction makes the experience unpleasant when it should just make it harder.
There shouldn't be any random afflictions, I should always be able to choose the malus I'm going to get.

I really hope we'll be getting a rework before long, because for me it's just out of the question to set foot in this Trial again at the moment.

No, we should not be making the trials any easier. If the trials are going to be easy, then there is no point in making it a trial anymore.

Many players have successfully completed all the four ascendancies. Many players have also written guides and tips and tricks on how to complete the trials. There are youtube guides and also written guides on the internet if you wish to learn how to complete the trial. It is easy to google for them.

There is a reason why the trials are called trials of sekhema and trials of chaos and there is a reason why the trials are not called trials of hello kitty online.

To be able to complete the trial, you must be worthy and then you are able to complete the trial. There is no such thing as you are not worthy and then GGG make the trials very easy so that an unworthy person is able to complete the trial. This doesn't make sense at all.

To be able to lift up the mjolnir, the hero must be worthy and then he/she is able to wield the mjolnir. There is no such thing as the hero is unworthy and then can lift up the mjolnir. If that's the case, then any tom dick harry can pick up mjolnir and that defeats the purpose of having the mjolnir in the first place.

The same goes for nobel prize award. The candidate must be worthy and then he/she is nominated and chosen for the award. There's no such thing as the candidate is unworthy and then the bar/requirements are lowered to make it easy for the candidate to achieve the nobel prize. No such thing at all and this is definitely no going to happen at all.

Please learn the game and please learn to play, and please stop asking GGG to make the trials easier and make the game easier. Thank you.

I just did trial for my 5th and 6th point. The trial completely removed one of my skills on the bear druid. I got owned by the twins. sucks.

The trials could be challenging and FUN. Now they are challengin, boring, frustrating and a completely horrible gameplay experience.
Trials are absolutely worst part of game since 0.1. I hope it will be scrapped at all and forgotten forever. 😂
TBBH I did first 4 points myself this season another bought for div. As usually at other seasons. Part of game with I don’t enjoy, don’t want to play, hate that from bottom of heart. So is still acceptable to pay some overleveled overbooster. Because my time is more expensive than div…
