Can't get rid of Quest Item (Exquisite Idol)

Had this item drop for me, i've completed the quest awhile ago went back to the area and it dropped again. I'm endgame and as far as I can tell there is no more Oswaldo NPC to give it to. Can't drop it on the ground etc etc.
I can only assume this will now be chewing up my character inventory space for the time being.
if anyone might know where/how to get Oswaldo back (endgame) please..

went to molten vault, teleported back to Zig Encampment.
yeah. lolololol.
