Please don't change the support limit.

It's really a silly limit.

If I want scattershot or concentrated effect on all of my grenades then that's my business.

The supports inherently have a downside along with the upside anyway.

The limit needs to go away.

I'm not actually able to do anything cool with it. No Full damage type conversions. Just added damage of an element. No adding any type of ailment. Just boosts to an ailment you've already got. Only 2-3 supports that affect how projectiles work.

We are still just putting a bunch of damage gems on skills. There are enough damage supports to do this across the board. Maybe not when you 6link everything. But link orbs don't drop so that's not a factor.

The support limit can still be good, but as of now, I think it failed in its goal.


I think the full damage conversion was considered too easy and kinda broken, that's prob why they're not here, (Yet anyway.)
And yea i ain't saying it's the best it could ever be in it's current form, but i believe it will be a lot better when other classes are out and more support gems. ;)
I think we should wait and see. For now, support limit seems very... limiting because we don't have that many supports yet, and those we do have, are often very conditional or come with an odd downside that make them borderline useless. It DOES make setting up skills somewhat cumbersome.

But I'd much rather let them cook and see the results than just throw entire system out the window after two weeks of EA.

Standard supports in PoE aren't that exciting either.

Scattershot is always a net positive for abilties with enough area of effect, which most grenades have, so it's never a downside.. So what you're saying is that you just want more dmg and area of effect on all your grenades.
Big yikes in my opinon, and what you're suggesting is too easy and boring in my opinion.

If they actually end up changing their support limit then as a last resort my suggesttion would be to allow up to 2, nothing more.
As I have pointed out, I have stopped playing since last week when I discovered this limit. I cannot customize my skills (and my build in general) to behave the way I want them to behave.
I needed Spell Echo on my other main skill but were instead forced to pick between Elemental Focus or Controlled Destruction. Neither of those skills interest me. This took away all the joy I had with the game up until that point. It feels like something one would find in Diablo 3.

It doesn't matter if other people think that it's more interesting. I'm playing for the sake of myself, not for other people.

To all those who think it's more interesting and more fun to only use a support gem once: Nothing stops you. I, however, feel stopped. This is a restraint.

I really hope GGG will change this in the future.
