Please bring the game to the Xbox 360
" This is really how things should go in the future for console video games. Game makers need to make games with superior controls for PC first, THEN port them to consoles, where IFF the controller scheme works then use that, otherwise just force them to buy a mouse and keyboard for the console. The exception is of course console exclusives, which can use controller only... but I don't want to see games ported from console to PC, they are garbage. " Well the only MMO on the PS3 which is not really a compareable game is DC Universe. The Xbox 360 has Final Fantasy 11 which is more compareable and has constant updates patches etc so if anything the Xbox 360 proves that it can be done. Also The Witcher 2 is on the 360 plays with a controller perfectly well, also Sacred 2 and many many other RPG's. The Witcher 2 is quite complext and if they can get that to work with a controller flawlessly then cannot see why anyone else would have any issues. |

" lol..... |

" The Witcher 2 is heavily dumbed down on x-box. I wouldn't call that flawless. Hell no people. Anyone suggesting this must belong to the crowd that has a terrible PC and can't spend the $ to upgrade. Last edited by DamageIncorporated#7815 on Jun 27, 2012, 11:34:31 AM

" Actually its not heavily dumbed down I have the PC version as well so well done failing. Also I build my own PC's and have a very good setup/build, I have been problem solving and tinkering with PC's since the age of 14 and I am 30 now. To recommend to bring a game to a system to try and obtain an ever wide audience is a fair comment I think why limit to who can enjoy something? Games consoles are built solely for gaming, just put the disc in and pick up the pad and away you go. Oh and for your info before you decide to attack someone on the internet be a little bit more careful because I have a lot of tech and love the latest gadgets if you want me to link them with screen shots let me know it will only embarrass you further. Isn't W2 a console port to PC? Not hating.
I live in the +8 Standard Timezone

" Its not a straight port, they had to re-do it so it worked with controllers also the only thing missing from what i can see is The Witcher doesnt sit down when you go into the mode for drinking potions etc. Other than that the Xbox 360 also got the enhanced version just like the PC did with improved visuals and all dlc included on disc for no extra cost. |

Can anyone name a single game on either xbox or PS3 that is free to play with microtransactions?
If the reasons stated before weren't enough of a barrier to entry (Microsofts patching policies being the biggest), I think this one stops it cold. It would require logging into your xbox, THEN logging into PoE. And if anyone wanted ot use the microtransaction store, they would have to go to their computers. Its clear that GGG has an understanding and love of video games, but they still have to make a buck at the end of the day, and consoles just won't do that for their business model. In Wraeclast, if someone tries to kill you... you just kill them right back.

Won't happen. Microsoft is VERY hard to work with with regards to free content. Not even VALVE could work with them to offer Steam, the biggest online distributor of content ever. This game won't ever be on xbox 360 and that's a VERY good thing.

I think the main reason this will likely never happen is that it's a huge gamble. Big studios can do this because they can afford to lose on an investment. GGG is a very small, low-budget indie studio. Losing on such an investment could mean severe debt and bankruptcy. Sticking to a single platform is a much safer investment.
Being PC-only means they can control everything about their own game. No fees, no middlemen or 3rd parties to deal with. Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.
