Please bring the game to the Xbox 360
|
Hi,
I had a thought I think if you were to perhaps team up with Microsoft and bring this to the Xbox 360 you would have access to an instant userbase of just over 30million Xbox Live subscribers. Also coupled with party chat for up to 8 people in a party a great way to team up with people and discuss the game and other things. Just a thought would be interesting to know if any deals were discussed with Microsoft :-) Last bumped on Jan 20, 2017, 1:55:34 PM

" I'm not sure how I feel about this. A lot of people are amped about this being a PC Exclusive. I don't feel that way. I think it could, with some work, play well on the XBox, but it would be super laborious and expensive to put it on the system and have something like an item shop working in the XBox version. |

" Hi, Yeah could be but at the same time I wouldnt blame any developer not wanting to work with Microsoft given Microsoft's way of working and may conflict with what certain developers actually want to achieve. However from what I read last, Blizzard were looking to bring Diablo 3 to the consoles and they even said it would not be a straight port but built from the ground up. There have been some really good Action RPG's on the 360 like Torchlight on the arcade market place, and also Sacred 2 which is still amazing just to name a couple. Would be an idea if GGG wanted to do this it would just reach out to even more gamers :-) |

People have said the same thing about Steam as a medium though. I am not sure what GGG's stance on these kinds of things are. It'd be good to get a dev post on this so we could add it to the common suggestions thread, because this does come up every other week or so.

Not going to happen. At least not any time in the remotely near future.

This game with a gamepad?
Never happening. Aside from the fact that this game has constant patches and updates, which is a. impossible on xbox because of expensive patch fees b. the reasons GGG doesn't have time to work on a console version |

Consoles need special attention. Any game released for consoles needs to be designed for them first, and then ported to PCs. This is why only larger game companies with more resources are able to release games for them.
But my own opinion is that companies should stop making games for the current console generation. It is ancient hardware. Skyrim had incredibly problems with the PS3, and such things are likely to become more common in the future. |

The next generation consoles are more or less PCs. The times are gone, when there was special HW developed for them (ie: cell).
I hope GGG stays true to the PC controls, but still enables the game to be played on a console (buying a mouse + keyboard shouldnt be a big problem). |

At least get it on Steam =D

This won't happen due to Microsoft's "close environment" nature, I mean how many MMOs are on the Xbox anyway? Compare to say, the PS3(either the ones that are out, or are coming out).
Not to mention they charge an arm and leg for each patch a game puts out. Sweeping Maid Last edited by nzrock#3291 on Jun 27, 2012, 10:28:10 AM
