PoE2 EA - Ketzul the Forgemaster - Stuck after Killing

but my character would not move, cast spells, and attempting to tp resulted in the basic error when trying to tp in boss area. Character still movement was still occurring and I could open in-game menus so the game was not frozen. Sound still running. Hit Esc key and then selected Respawn at Waypoint -> hit accept on acknowledgement that the area progress would be reset, and then respawned at waypoint. Heard boss who immediately died and dropped the quest item again down in the tunnel but I had not way to get back down there The "Arena" text was not present next to the lift as it was before opening the sluice gate.
