are the tiers listed correctly on items?
When you press ALT to see more advanced tooltip stats.
On the left side you can see if its a prefix or a suffix and on the right side it tells you which tier it is. I wonder why they did that. It is alot easier to know if its from t8 (worst) to t1 (best) then the other way around imho. It seems here that in poe2 someone made the decision to make tier1 the worst variant and tier X the highest. Anyone else noticed? ![]() ![]() Last edited by Shirolicious#0292 on Dec 17, 2024, 6:00:57 PM Last bumped on Dec 17, 2024, 6:43:15 PM

This trend somewhat started in PoE1 already, with the crafted affixes having ascending tiers as opposed to the descending tiers of the non-crafted affixes.
It's a departure, but this gives them room to expand and add more tiers as the years go on and power creeps up without having to rename the tiers or do whatever other shenanigans they've been doing with/for legacy items and affixes. I just hope they start showing/applying this to flask affixes. Currently it's all "U" even though there are clearly different tiers or ranges of those modifiers. | |
ahh really? Thanks for the explanation. from a development perspective it does indeed make a bit more sense indeed.
But as a end-user its a bit puzzling now to figure out if you got the highest tier or not. |

Maybe they could just add the max tier as information like T4/8 for example.
