TL;DR style feedback:
Ascendancy trials all overtuned - especially Ultimatum. Fine to scale difficulty for subsequent trials, 1 & 2 need to be widely acessible.

1-portal maps and bossing in the mid/late/end game just takes the fun out of a great bossing experience. Let us learn the mechs please. I get that you want to have a sense of drama and finality -- this exists within a mechanic where we have multiple portals to try.
Suggestion: Reward 1-portal completiion and reduce rewards per portal used. For maps, loot disappears on death, but maybe reset map, or respawn at nearest checkpoint to continue progress. On bosses, just reset boss to full health and start over, like in the campaign.

PLEASE LOSE ALL THE ON-DEATH MECHS! FFS These are miserable and leave a sour taste following the thrill of beating a tough enemy.

Some tweaks to the passive tree are needed to allow for res, life, defenses, better access to cross-class stats.

Positives
leveling is pretty damn amazing. The bosses are exciting and unique. The classes all have distinct personalities. The actual combat mechanics are awesome, the game visuals are juicy and slick. I love the combo-based skill usage.

100% great job on the game. I am def not leaving, just not pushing endgame in hopes that the portal mess is refactored. I would also love to see some more tweaks to encourage multiplayer. There are a few hiccups in quest progression and difficulty in rezzing my partners. WOuld love to see some perks that aloow for DR while rezzing, or ways to speed up rezzing, uniques that grant chartges for quick rezzing... just saying. It's an amazing experience to play with others and would love to see more unique benefits to the multiplayer experience.
